MEET JOHN WELSH
A Lifetime of Building.
For John Welsh, working with his hands started long before JPW Construction. His interest in carpentry began at an early age, and he spent years developing his skills through hands-on experience before building a career in residential construction.

With more than 25 years of experience, John has worked on everything from historic homes to large, complex construction projects. Today, he brings that same appreciation for quality craftsmanship and attention to detail to every project.

As a local builder, John understands that a home is more than a construction project. It's where families gather, memories are made, and life happens.
A TEAM BUILT ON EXPERIENCE
Good Work Starts WithÂ
Good People.
One of the things that sets JPW Construction apart is the team behind the name. Many of our carpenters have worked together for more than a decade, developing a strong understanding of one another's skills and a shared commitment to quality craftsmanship.

That experience makes a difference. There's a level of trust that comes from working alongside the same people year after year, and it shows in how our team communicates, solves problems, and approaches each project.

We're proud of the people who represent JPW Construction and the care they bring to every home.
OUR APPROACH
Thoughtful Planning. Honest Communication.
We know that building or renovating a home is a significant investment, and choosing the right construction team matters.

Our approach begins with listening. We want to understand your vision, how you use your home, and what matters most to you before the work begins.

Throughout the process, we value clear communication, thoughtful decisions, and attention to the details that make a difference. Every home presents its own challenges, and our experience helps us approach each project with confidence, flexibility, and respect for the work.
WHY HOMEOWNERS CHOOSE JPW CONSTRUCTION
Experience You Can Trust. Craftsmanship You Can See.
Choosing a builder is about more than finding someone who can get the job done. It's about trusting the people who will be working on your home.

At JPW Construction, we bring decades of experience, a dedicated team, and a personal approach to every project. From the first conversation to the finishing details, we're committed to doing the work thoughtfully and doing it well.

We're proud of the homes we've helped build and restore throughout Lexington and Rockbridge County, and even prouder of the relationships we've built along the way.
